This statement was made by the team coach, Mr kayode during an interview by some group of journalists.
According to kayode, they went ahead to sign experienced, strong and talented players like Okemmiri ikpo, offorka Ezeugwu, Jolly Osas and Ambrose from Enugu rangers Intl fc in other to change their pattern of play.
He further stated that with these caliber of players in the team, that sunshine stars fc will be taken to another level this season. And to their fans, they promised not to let them down.
Kayode stated that their first match is on the 17th of January 2017, against enyimba fc of Aba, schedule to be played in calabar.
