Fifty six yrs ago, the Nigerian nation shook off the chain of colonialism tied by the British imperialist, the country was granted independence on the first of October 1960.
The independence celebration was marked by the lowering of the british flag the union jack and the hoisting of the colourful green and white flag of our independence Nigeria, place to place at the tafawa belewa square Lagos.
As regards this, 1st october every year is a remarkable day in Nigeria. A day we remember our past heros and acknowledge them for their hardwork. despite that, we hope that the current state of the country today will turn out to be a better one tomorrow.
